What does it mean to Tithe?
The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving: the tithe. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we put God first in our lives.
At Greenview Church, we believe what the Bible teaches in Malachi 3:9-10, and the numerous teaching of Jesus including Matthew 22, about tithing. We teach tithing as an act of worship to God, who has provided us with everything that we have. When we tithe, we express gratitude, faith, and love for others. We give because we love Him and we love people.
We also give offerings to God, which is gift above and beyond our tithe.
Ways to Give
In The Plate- During each service will send collection baskets down each row. Just toss it in and be blessed. You can also mail it in to the church: 12 Greenview Church Rd., Centralia, IL, 62801.
On Your Phone- No checks? No cash? No problem, here at GC we like to make it as easy as possible for you to give. We have partnered with Tith.ly to provide a simple and effortless giving process. You can use there mobile app that works on IOS/ Android. You can also text GIVE to 224-487- 7197.
On Our Website- Go to www.greenviewchurch.org and click the Giving tab. You will be sent to this page where you can give securely using the integrated Tith.ly form at the bottom of the page.
